Job Description

  • To provide quality nursing services   for patients in the concerned centre
  • Follow Centre administration advice for any other businesses in the Centre

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patients and gaining their trust
  • Planning and delivering patients’ care and monitoring their progress
  • nursing care of patients in the concerned ward according to doctor’s order (administration of IV fluids, medication, checking vital signs,
  •  Responsible for nursing documentation (vital signs, investigations, input-output, nursing history and taking samples).
  • To ensure a safe environment for clients and providers according to standard protocols in the health center.
  • Monitoring and administering medication.  
  • In charge of dressing, suturing, injections and giving of intravenous medications under asepsis and antisepsis conditions, and after performing drug sensitivity tests.
  • Responsible of sterilizing/disinfecting of the medical equipment’s in the health facility.
  •  Register patients in the clinic.
  • Regular follow up of the patients.
  • Participate in clinic visit and morning report.
  • To participate in trainings upon request.
  • Provision of Regular health education in the health center.
  • Other duties as assigned by the relevant supervisor or HEWAD leadership.

Job Requirement

  • Graduated from an intermediate medical institute (Nursing)
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the related field.
  • Must be fluent in local languages.
  • Expert diagnostic skills.
  • Trustworthy and compassionate character.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong patient management skills.
  • Strategic guidance and planning skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and maintains confidentiality.
