WHAT WE DO: Global Partners works in the areas of community development, education and training, health improvement, emergency relief, and refugee assistance.

Job Description

  • Dispense appropriate medications to patients that were prescribed by the doctors and/or midwife
  • Explain to patient how to take medication and educate patient about medication
  • Monitor medication supply and make sure the medications are ordered according to clinic protocol
  • Monitoring medication for expiration dates and disposing of expired drugs as necessary
  • Keep updated medication list
  • Communicate pharmacy needs/issues with direct supervisor the Medical Program Manager

Job Requirement

  • Degree from a recognized pharmacy school
  • Strong knowledge and expertise about medications for the treatment acute and chronic illnesses
  • Experience of working with patients in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate good organizational skills
  • Able to speak/write in English and Pashto/Dari with clarity and ease.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
