Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To perform emergency first care services if needed for children and other vulnerable people.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To perform emergency first care if needed.
- Under direct management of the senior Health & Nutrition Officer the Medical Doctor/Nurse is responsible for the following main activities to ensure the provision of quality OPD.
- Dispensing of Rational Medicines usage to patients in SHC.
- Provide medicine/medical supply monthly consumption reports regularly.
- Provide all monthly reports according to the HMIS tools.
- Ensure the patients triage registration and measurements of viral signs.
- Dressing and first aid care of injured patients if needed.
- Recording and reporting of beneficiaries or patient regularly.
- Identify any patient in need of urgent care and refer them immediately to the equipped Health Center.
- Register any patient coming to seek care in the registration book.
- Respect IMC standards of procedures for referral and stabilization of patients.
- Take part in the management of pharmaceutical goods and medical equipment.
- Accompany patients to the external referral HF when required.
- Any other activity assigned by line Supervisor.
