Job Purpose:

• To perform emergency first care services if needed for children and other vulnerable people.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• To perform emergency first care if needed.
• Under direct management of the senior Health & Nutrition Officer the Medical Doctor/Nurse is responsible for the following main activities to ensure the provision of quality OPD.
• Dispensing of Rational Medicines usage to patients in SHC.
• Provide medicine/medical supply monthly consumption reports regularly.
• Provide all monthly reports according to the HMIS tools.
• Ensure the patients triage registration and measurements of viral signs.
• Dressing and first aid care of injured patients if needed.
• Recording and reporting of beneficiaries or patient regularly.
• Identify any patient in need of urgent care and refer them immediately to the equipped Health Center.
• Register any patient coming to seek care in the registration book.
• Respect IMC standards of procedures for referral and stabilization of patients.
• Take part in the management of pharmaceutical goods and medical equipment.
• Accompany patients to the external referral HF when required.
• Any other activity assigned by line Supervisor.
