Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Estimator and Scheduler. As an Estimator and Scheduler, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, creating project schedules, and ensuring smooth project execution. You will work closely with various departments, project managers, and clients to gather information, analyze data, and develop comprehensive estimates and schedules. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in project estimation and scheduling.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials needed.

2. Conduct thorough research and gather data from various sources to develop accurate cost estimates.

3. Collaborate with internal teams to understand project timelines, resource availability, and potential risks.

4. Prepare detailed project cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

5. Review and validate estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Project Scheduling:

6. Develop comprehensive project schedules based on project requirements, available resources, and constraints.

7. Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect changes, delays, or adjustments.

8. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimation and scheduling.

9. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to obtain accurate pricing information for materials and equipment.

10. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their project requirements and provide timely updates on estimates and schedules.

11. Maintain accurate records of project estimates, schedules, and related documents.

12. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing project estimates, schedules, and progress.

13. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.

14. Conduct post-project analysis to evaluate the accuracy of estimates and identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Proven experience in project estimation and scheduling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

4. Proficient in using project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel).

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

7. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.

8. Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
