About International Assistance Mission (IAM): The International Assistance Mission (IAM) is an International Non-Government Organization registered in Switzerland (registration #CH-660-1239000-6) and Afghanistan (registration #001). IAM is one of the oldest NGOs in Afghanistan. The International Assistance Mission (IAM) is serving the people of Afghanistan through capacity building in the sectors of Health, Education, Relief and Economic Development. The positions sit within the Development Programme at IAM. The successful candidates will work with the Mazar Livelihoods and Development Project (MLDP) in Mazar district and the Community-based Health and WASH (CBH and WASH) Programme in Lal Wa Sarjangal district. CBHWP is an integrated programme aiming to improve health of the working districts in Lal. MLDP works in the areas of community-based health, livelihoods and agriculture with the internally displaced persons in the outskirt of Mazar city.
Job Description
- Develop, implement and maintain the M&E framework and systems for IAM Development Projects/Programmes.
- Design and implement relevant monitoring and evaluation tools to track and assess the progress of the projects.
- Conduct regular project monitoring visits to field sites and ensure that all information is accurately captured and documented.
- Analyse data and generate reports on the progress and impact of the projects
- Work closely with project team members to ensure that they are capturing and reporting accurate data and build their capacity to do so.
- Provide technical support to field staff for M&E activities
- Ensure that all M&E activities adhere to the donor reporting requirements
- Participate in development and implementation of the project/programme annual work plan and ensure that M&E activities are integrated into the work plan
- Participate in project planning and budgeting
Job Requirement
Education:
- A university degree in health-related field, or in social science, statistics, or relevant field (preference will be given to health-related degrees)
- Some courses on M&E will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Two to four years of experience in M&E with national or international NGOs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community development.
