Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning coordination Supervision and monitoring of Tuberculosis activities through determined HFs’ staff and provincial TB focal points in targeted provinces for projects implementation.
- Responsible to follow all TB activities in the provinces.
- Ensure proper implementation of the projects in the provinces through provincial TB officers.
- Maintain good communication with provincial TB coordinators (PTC), MCH service delivery organization, provincial health offices and other relevant organizations.
- Build strong cooperative relations with Donors/Stakeholder and other involved parties.
- Coordinate and share the progress/achievements of the project through coordination events with main office, National Tuberculosis Program and others.
- Supervise and monitor field activities closely and provide technical financial logistic and other required appropriate support in case of need.
- Provide capacity building to field mentors in Kabul and other provinces (Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif, Sheberghan)
- Provide technical assistance to field staff and attend the TB task force meetings regularly and represent the organization and TB project.
- Ensure and maintain good reporting mechanism (monthly and quarterly basis) from the field offices project focal points on regular basis.
- Maintain good communication with provincial health teams, NTP, MoPH and other involved organizations.
- Assist in carrying out recruitment process of TB mentors in the provinces.
- Maintain good coordination with all involved sides.
- Collect monthly activities report for compilation and drafting reports on monthly and quarterly bases.
- Prepare training plans according to the proposal and work plans.
- Active participation in coordination meetings conducted in field level, NTP, MoPH and CAF/OREAD.
- Ensure management of activities implementation according to project budget and plan
- Ensure that patients are followed up during the screening and diagnosis ad treatment process
Job Requirement
- Graduated from a recognized medical faculty
- Fluent in English and local language.
- Good communication and presentation and report writing skill.
- Travel to the different districts of Province
- Excellent computer programs (Ms Office package internet) skill
- Experience in TB Program is a plus point
- Good team building spirit
- Be able to work under pressure
- To have experience of maternal and child health services
WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years’ experience to the relevant position.
