About Noor Ensaf Tarin Group: Brief Introduction of the Firm: Noor Ensaf Tarin Group (NETG) established and registered in the year 2013 with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries of Afghanistan with the business license no (0101-20410), since two decades the firm has been working in different areas and activities of the business in Afghanistan market such as: Agricultural machinery, equipment and tools, agricultural services, construction, assembly and packing of Agricultural machinery. The firm has been worked with a lot of Ngo’s, organizations such as: Care Afghanistan, ACTED, Afghanistan Development Association (ADA), USAID, RADP-EAST, agricultural projects such as: CBARD, OFWMP, DACAAR, TLO, different municipalities of the country such as: Kabul municipality, Khost municipality and Kabul greenery department. The firm has been worked and has been implemented the projects with the mentioned organizations in different sections such as: Greenhouses installations services, goods services contracts, construction contracts. the firm also has been implemented directly medium and high standard greenhouses installation with the CDC’s in different provinces of Afghanistan, there main greenhouses contracts was with the CDC’s in Nangarhar province in different districts. The firm has close partnerships and collaboration contracts with the International corporations such as: 1- ECHO Japan, 2- Original Loewe Germany, 3- Agrimax Spain, 4- Dimartino Italy, 5- Solo Germany, 6- Husqavarna Sweden, 7- Altuna Spain and so on, the firm also import the fruitful saplings from different countries such as: Turkey high density fruitful saplings, French, USA, Spain and Shat al Arab. The firm has sufficient stock of the mentioned brands in its Kabul and provincial branches stocks and about 15 permanent experienced employees here work with the firm include of: technical, advisors and experts’ engineers’ in the field of Horticulture, Livestock, High Technology Greenhouses, Kitchen Gardens, the firm has administrative team including of: Admin manager, Finance and accountant manager, advertising team, warehouse manager, sales manager, the permanent staff are 15 and temporary staff are 25 persons, the total staff which are operating within the firm are 40 persons to manage and control all the firm projects inside the country. These permanent staff which are operating in occupational and technical works suchlike: technical engineers’ and agricultural advisors are trained all technical related to High Technology Greenhouses installation and manufacturing, horticulture in the modern system in outside the country in Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Japan, the engineers’ much well trained and experienced with the High-Tech Greenhouses and can implement it well in the different provinces with different climatic zones.
Job Description
Technical Expertise:
• Work with state agencies in establishing support to associations/cooperatives on research; extension services, standardization and licensing.
• Facilitate Agriculture technical linkages between organizations/farmers’ and government and entities.
Capacity Building
• Provides technical support to associations/cooperatives to strengthen technical and managerial skills by coaching and training in best agricultural practices, standardization, licensing etc…
• Organizes and coordinates capacity building trainings and workshop for associations/cooperatives staff, beneficiaries, partners, government staff, private sectors on creating partnerships, increasing quality of the firm in the sector of agriculture.
Learning, Knowledge Management and Results Dissemination
• Attend relevant meetings, technical working groups, conferences, etc. to share knowledge generated through project activities, and leverage collaboration.
• Contribute to project M&E activities, including data collection and reporting in coordination with the M&E team.
• Support the M&E and Communications teams to develop case studies and success stories from project activities.
• Conduct other duties as may be assigned by the firm chairman These essential functions are not to be interpreted as a complete statement of all duties performed. Employees will be required to perform other job related duties as required. All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established.
Education and qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in agronomic sciences, agroforestry, rural development, social and training engineering;
• Knowledge of Agriculture Sector, horticulture value chain,
Knowledge and understanding of modern agriculture of the global agriculture system.
Experience:
• At least ten years of experience in the areas of horticulture /development and strengthening; managing demonstration plots and following up application of good agriculture practices;
• Experience of project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Previous work experience in abroad with private sector and Ngo’s in the sector of agricultural and greenhouses would be a strong asset.
Skills:
• Strong communication, interpersonal, community level facilitation and coordination skills
The employee must have strong power of conducting farmers’ training
The employee must have knowledge of compositions of the pesticides, fertilizers and seeds to give some instructions as a doctor prescription to the farmers’ and customers.
• Computer literacy, good record keeping and report writing
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a multi partner initiatives
• Budget and financial management, training need assessment and training facilitation
• Willingness to work in rural/marginal areas, ability to work with minimum supervision
• Fluency in Pashto and Dari Knowledge and English is strong asset.
CONTRACT:
• The initial contract will be for one year with a probation period of three months and will be renewable depending on the candidate's performance.
• The employee will cover accommodation and relocation costs.
The employee will cover and will pay sales percentage from the net income.
The net monthly salary is AFN 35,000
Job Requirement
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilitate capacity-building activities and ensure adequate consultation and participation of associations/cooperatives staff, farmers’, women and youth in the agriculture value chain.
• Develop Agriculture activities by introducing high quality of varieties and seedling; good agriculture practices; developing organic production sales and facilitate implementation of these activities;
• Facilitate identification of training needs, prepare training materials, and deliver training for trainers (ToT), demonstration plot conduct assessment and other services to organizations/farmers’ management and staff;
• Ensure that the project implemented according to work-plan
The employee will have duties and responsibilities in all agriculture sectors to provide information for the customers, conducting farmers’ training, participating in agriculture workshops, conferences, exhibitions and seminars.
Travel to: provinces and to abroad seminars, workshops and conferences will be covered in this scope of work.
