Job Description

I- GENERAL OBJECTIVES

To ensure the project is implemented according to the plan and provide a quality health service to the community according to the TB Reach strategy.

II-Specific Duties:

    1. To Monitor & evaluate the implementation of TB Reach Projects by using a compressive and effective Monitoring & Evaluation System.
    2. To develop annual work plans for CAF Monitoring & Evaluation unit.
    3. To monitor & evaluate the project work plan and their achievements, compare the progress with expected results.
    4. To supervise monitoring & evaluation process of the projects and ensure quality and timely periodic production of M & E information products in line with requirements.
    5. To provide supportive and comprehensive feedbacks to the projects, related staff.
    6. To represent CAF at all PHC M&E forums as well as coordination meeting
    7. Manages implementation of Performance Management System in the project different levels.
    8. Coordinates with TB Reach management team for performance management and quality improvement capacity building for all levels of management and Hs employees.
    9. Lead the verification supervisors/Monitor to implement the performance evaluation/verification from all Hs and individual health workers on monthly basis.
    10. Coordinate with TB Reach in-charges and community to ensure alignment and optimal use of resources.
    11. Increases the performance management and capacity of the Hs in order to ensure, project goals are effectively and efficiently met.
    12. Enhance the health facilities capacity to evaluate and improve the health services, use of resources, and bring required changes for improvement

III Specific Job Responsibilities:

    1. To coordinate Health Management related activities for the technical and non-technical staff of CAF, and other representatives in partner NGOs and other Civil Society Organization.
    2. Effective coaching field monitoring teams on their duties and responsibilities for improving the quality of services and introducing the unique system for M&E projects.
    3. Establishing effective working relationship with the local & International counterparts. Any other tasks related to the position.
    4. Ensure review of monthly performance reports of Hs and staff conducted on monthly base and verification results with rating updating for provincial and HQ approval. Ensures needed data is collected on a timely basis, regular reports on progress are distributed, and makes recommendations for future improvements based on the data.
    5. Participates in a HF and provincial performance management and review meetings, share best practices, tools and materials to facilitate the process for defined results.
    6. Coordinates with PMU and PHD members, lead regular meetings, sets agendas, develops and analyzes performance improvement data, develops and implements an organization-wide communication plan, and develops and implements a recognition program for Improvement.

Job Requirement

QUALIFICATION AND REQIREMENTS:

  • Medical Doctor
  • Fluent in English and local language.
  • Good communication and presentation skill.
  • Having proper leadership skills
  • Travel to the different districts of Province

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years’ experience to the relevant position.               

SKILLS:

  • Excellent knowledge of English language (verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach to solving issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all project teams
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on Microsoft Office, Excel, World
