About Move Welfare Organization: MOVE is a National humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization which is aiming for an equitable & quality standard health care for all Afghans throughout its endless effort to response to highly vulnerable group, mother & children, who are victim of various deadly diseases as well as having the high rates of morbidity & mortality in the country. The policy of MOVE is to conduct the activities honorably and ethically, in the illumination of public accountability and consistency with applicable laws, rules, guidelines and practices to non-governmental agencies. MOVE Welfare Organization has been founded in 2005 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE was registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.
Job Description
- Act according MOVE organization policies and procedures.
- Develop spirit of cooperation and understanding among members of program.
- Responsible for planning, implementation, supervision and monitoring the CBHC related activities in all HFs catchment areas.
- To understand the verification of HF performance system and its importance for quality improvement and staff salary adjustment and payments.
- Responsible for monitoring and verification of data in specified indicators.
- Responsible for implementation and follow up CBHC activities. (close follow up of each CHS and CHWs performances to wad the targets Referral cases, shura meetings,)
- Training need assessment of CHSs and CHWs regarding CBHC program and develop capacity building plan in collaboration with DPM for conducting training CHSs and CHWs.
- Conduct supervision and monitoring from CHS and HPs (CHWs) based on project supervision and monitoring plans and Prepare and F/up of Action plan for f/up.
- Updating project targets for CBHC program based on CSO/ CAAC population and and community maps.
- Work for the quality improvement of CBHC program. Provide Job aid and tech materials for CHS and CHWs to perform quality services for community.
- Ensure sustainable compensation system by the community for the community based health workers.
- Ensure Regular supply and F/up of CHWs kits initial and re supply through assigning of CHS and F/up of consumption.
- Link community with the health facilities through health shuras and their active participation.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting system is maintaining by HPs and timely collection.
- Liaise the project with community through regular participation in community events, sharing of information about project targets, involvement of the community elders, referral system etc...
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annually plan and reports.
Do whatever related job, is delegated by the Project manager.
Job Requirement
- Interpersonal and managerial and conflict resolution skills.
- Communication skills and knowledge of local communities..
- Knowledge of English, Dari and Pashto Languages.
- Negotiation skills in multicultural and multilingual environment
