Job Description

The Provider Detailer is responsible for mapping and visiting private midwives, hospitals, and pharmacies in Peri-urban areas of Herat city to detail private providers on maternal and child health products, supply ASMO products/IEC materials to providers and ensure that health providers would convey maternal and child health messages to their clients. The incumbent is required to make regular visits to private providers midwives,  clinics, private hospitals, and pharmacies as per the work plan.

Mapping private midwives in middle and low-income areas within county areas of Herat city and seeking their consent to collaborate with ASMO to increase women’s access to maternal and child health information/products 
Map private hospitals in close collaboration with Sales Executives and link midwives to nearby hospitals for referrals
Map private pharmacies near midwives, visit those pharmacies to ensure they stock ASMO products and share the details with the sales team for regular supply
Pay regular visits to private midwives’ solo practices and private hospitals to provide detailing on ASMO health products
Distribute print/promotion materials and maintain brand display at providers’ solo practice and private hospitals
Supply ASMO products to private midwives willing to sell health products through their solo practice
Conduct client sensitization sessions on health topics for patients at the midwives’ solo practice and hospitals’ waiting area
Assist Master Trainer in organizing training/refresher training sessions for private pharmacists 
Provide a report of providers visited and detailed and number of clients sensitized by male/ female on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Invite private midwives to participate in monthly demand-generation meetings at the related health facility
Obtain and share the WhatsApp number of midwives with the Marketing team to create a WhatsApp group and send regular health message

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Midwifery or Pharmacy from a recognized and registered university/institution

Industry Experience A minimum of 2 years of related experience with national or international organizations or private institutions.

Technical skills: Strong communication skills.

Personal qualities: Be able to work in a multicultural setting

Technology Skills: Be familiar with MS, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
