Job Description
- Under the supervision of the project coordinator the master trainers will be responsible for capacity building of CHWs and CHCs on C-IMCI through formal training sessions to be conducted in respective health facilities of Ghazni;
- Responsible for advance preparation of training in conjunction with the project coordinator and ensuring proper training venue having audio and video training aid materials;
- Develop a plan for training of CHWs at district and health facility levels;
- Organize and conduct three-day training for CHSs and CHWs according to standard guidelines of MoPH in C-IMCI through a hands-on case management approach;
- Conduct post-training follow-up visits to CHWs to assess the knowledge, skills and confidence of the health workers who have received C-IMCI training, to observe that they practice the gained knowledge and skills, and to provide support and coaching to the CHWs;
- Participating in five days of ToT training in Kabul;
- Create durable relations with CHWs and CHSs
- She/He will spend approximately 80% of their working time in the field;
- Preparing the data and information needed to be entered in the reporting database and quarterly report.
Job Requirement
- Resident in the province;
- Registered MD or nurse and midwife; received IMCI training, experience in clinical case management in BPHS facilities in preferably rural areas;
- Having experience in CHW training with the BPHS implementer in the province;
- Fluency in written and spoken local language with good communication and coordination skills;
- Ability and willingness to travel to rural locations in Ghazni;
- The couple married having required qualification is preferable;
- Knowledge of Computer programs and English language is preferable.
