About Company

About ORCD: Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country. ORCD would like to implement Mobile Health & Nutrition Services (MHNT) Badakhshan, Kunduz, Baghlan, Balkh, Nangarhar and Nuristan provinces funded by (UNFPA) for which it would like to seek qualified people.

Job Description

  • Act according to the policy of ORCD;
  • Undertaking internal audits to ensure the organization meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives;
  • Supporting the development of an assurance planning reporting process;
  • Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value;
  • Challenging current processes across the organization and identify opportunities for refinement;
  • Engaging remediation of identified issues through follow-up;
  • Playing an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices;
  • Support program for the annual report preparation;
  • Prepare project wise and organization annual audit report;
  • Communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the company;
  • Any task assigned by supervisor;

 

Job Requirement

  • Be Afghan and Graduated from recognized Accountancy, Economics & Finance faculty.
  • Having experience of IA in NNGO or INGO for 2-3 years.
  • Able to speak in Pashto, Dari and English.
  • Organization and time-keeping skills.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate risk, plus implement solutions.
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines.
  • Excellent reporting skills & Able to go to the field.
