Job Description
Job Summary:
Under supervision of Project Coordinator, the general purpose of this position is to fully implement WFP and lead/manage project field team at provincial level. The incumbent will be responsible for all project derivable and ensure smooth implementation of the project at provincial level.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plan at provincial level.
- Provide leadership and coordination for all relevant staff.
- Manage project resource allocation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Ensure smooth implementation of all the project activities
- implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Generate project progress reports (Monthly, Quarterly and Annual).
- Facilitate running cost expenditure for daily operations of the office and monitoring all cash flow movements.
- Representing IRW at provincial and liaising with key stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with government, donors, stakeholder, and other partners, if requested and/or required.
- Perform any other duties as require.
Job Requirement
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with sound and technical knowledge of program, Project management, coordination and supervision, BSc in Civil Engineering, Master Degree in the relevant field is preferable.
Experience:
- 5-7 years’ experience in Project Management and planning
Skills:
- Efficiently communicate, both orally and written and successfully and productively resolve problems.
- Able to execute unassailable business and financial skills, exceptionally detail oriented and technically minded as well as able to responsibly lead a team.
- Efficiently utilize different computer and communication software applications and hardware
- Successfully manage time, plans, projects and other related tasks and able to adequately function in a high expectancy and demand position.
- Continuously meet targets and surpass expectations, extremely proficient and knowledgeable
