About Afghan Health and Development Services(AHDS): Afghan Health & Development Service (AHDS is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization founded by Afghans on April 7th, 1990. AHDS is registered as a national NGO (No. 5) in the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Public Health, and Ministry of Education in Afghanistan; AHDS has also registered as a tax-exempt 501-(c)(3) organization in the USA.
Job Description
- Guide the Admin HR Subordinates on the proper implementation of AHDS rules and regulations as stipulated in the relevant policy documents.
- Ensure effective and timely communication with Sub-Offices and keep them updated on the organization’s admin/HR-related issues.
- Keep all AHDS Admin and HR policies updated in line with the rules and regulations of the government.
- Ensure implementation of the Human Resource database in the Main Office (MO) and all Field Offices (FOs).
- Suggest the promotion, demotion, and dismissal of HR staff to the line supervisor.
- Responsible for updating and completing personal files of all AHDS staff both MO & FOs.
- Responsible for job advertisement,
- Handle the recruitment process in line with the GEC of AHDS.
- Orientating the new employees on the job’s requirements.
- In-time submission of all Main Office and Field Office's payrolls to finance department, and keep record thereof in the HR department.
- Provide timely information to staff regarding security issues and take immediate action in consultation with top management.
- Negotiate to build rental contracts and update the same on a timely basis.
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing memos and correspondence letters are registered and sent to the relevant unit and offices in a timely manner.
- Arranging meetings, workshops, and conferences in the main office.
- Responsible for attendance record and checking attendance register on daily basis,
- Make sure that quarterly stationery, office supplies, and any other requirements are arranged in a timely manner.
- Undertake quarterly or semiannual field visits to all sub-offices to provide the required support to the provincial staff.
- Ensure that all Admin/HR staff have monthly action plans, and activity reports and make sure that proper follow-up and advice are provided to them.
Follow any other related task assigned by the Lead project manager
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration (or a related field) and 5 years of professional relevant experience inclusive of managing a workforce of approximately 100- 200 personnel and experience in the use of office software packages and Human Resource Management systems.
should be familiar with the health system Especially with (BPHS and EPHS) in Afghanistan.
