Background Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations anywhere all over the world regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background. HHRD Afghanistan (Regional Office of Helping Hand USA) got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in the Islamic republic of Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan. HHRD established a mobile family health clinic for its sponsored orphan children and their families for preliminary health issues on daily bases, where it will hire some health staff and doctors .
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities :
·
Provide curative services to patients according to family
health requirement
·
Active participation in the monthly and weekly
report
·
Taking observations, writing patients' histories, providing
written documents, physical examinations, laboratory and radiology according to
the relevant guidelines and forms.
·
Necessary counselling and counselling related to
illness and health problems of patients and related clients and promotion of
health information, necessary and important events (prevention and primitive)
·
Design health projects and help the director and
proposing health related projects for coming months and years
·
Establish and maintain good relations with relevant
government departments , especially health and education
·
Help the procurement department in assessing the
needs of family mobile clinic and local health centre
·
Keep daily record of medicine purchased and spent
in all health facilities of HHRD
·
Active participation in educational programs inside
and outside the Health centre in Jalalabad and Mobile family clinic
·
Education, new knowledge and awareness and its
practice according to national guidelines and new protocols for the treatment
of corona disease
·
Supervise and monitor health related staff and
facilities of HHRD
·
Preparation and participation in responding to
emergency response inside Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar provinces
·
Carrying out other tasks assigned by program
manager and country director
·
Check up the patients visit Jalalabad office
·
Providing a report on the condition of patients on
daily bases
·
Have enough information about the set of basic
health services for Afghanistan and apply it in practice.
·
Identify and report immediately any problem which interfere
in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her
immediate supervisor
·
Participate any relevant meeting and training
Job Requirement
Qualifications
:
- Graduated from a recognized medical faculty.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Will be responsible to provide required report and plan in timely
manners.
- Good coordination, networking, inter-personal and relationship
building skills, and diplomacy.
- Attitudes and aptitude aligned with the positions are essential.
- Good communication and liaison skills with community and all
staffs.
- Good capacity and analysis of conflict management to provide
advises to the population.
- Written and spoken English knowledge is required
- To be able to propose solutions to the identified
problems/challenges.
- Flexibility is requested regarding the working hours and the
live-in community after the working hours.
