Job Description
We are looking for professional and highly qualified supervisor to join our team. Supervisor is responsible to manage the day-to-day field operations of the assigned work team. The Field Supervisor’s responsibilities include ordering equipment that is necessary for the project at hand, scheduling delivery of the equipment, and reviewing the equipment budget to ensure that there are no cost overruns. Field Supervisor should also be able to train and mentor field staff. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities as outlined in Duties & Responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with project management teams to ensure that the project work plan is accurate and applicable in the field before work commences.
- Ordering and scheduling the delivery of all equipment needed for the project.
- Acting as the main point of communication between the main field and the office.
- Managing the work schedules and time cards for all field staff.
- Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
- Investigating and resolving beneficiary’s complaints.
- Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to.
- Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Any other duties as required.
- Providing work facilitations for data collectors.
- Constant supervision of data collection and translation of surveys and assessments.
- Planning and reporting on weekly and monthly basis.
Attend meetings.
Job Requirement
Education:
- Male/Female
- Local same ethnic and cultural background.
- Ability to Read, Speak and write Pashto, Dari and English.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in BBA or Agricultural Economics.
- Excellent knowledge of data collection.
- Good communicator, creative, open-minded and teachable.
- Ability to use Computer (Microsoft office).
Work Experience:
At least three years of progressive experience in supervision.
