It is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. IRA started its humanitarian activities for Afghan Refugees in Pakistan and Afghan people inside since then; IRA continued assisting in emergency relief, food security, women empowerment, girl education, orphan sponsorship, health, emergency education, shelter, Ramadan, and Qurbani programs.
Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Provincial Management, the incumbent undertakes the following duties:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Under the overall technical and administrative direction of provincial manager, assist project planning and implementation.
- To support the needs assessments for project activities, with the assistance of field engineer in the province.
- To Manage and control cash distribution for the beneficiaries.
- To manage selection of beneficiaries according to the criteria.
- To assistant project implementation in accordance to the approved proposal of the project.
- Regularly evaluate impacts of the project activities.
- Coordinate in monitoring of the activities according to the approved activities schedule.
- Capacity building of the project staff and stakeholders.
- Producing initial and technical reports of the activities and sharing these reports in timely manner.
- Keep the record of the project and do the proper data collection and file accordingly.
- Engaging the community in activities, establishing Community Advisory Boards and in facilitating the community understanding of the overall project.
- Coordination with relevant government departments in the province including provincial relevant departments.
- Keep the perfect record, and filing system of the project activities, and do the proper data collection.
- Supporting the provincial manager in admin, finance and HR activities.
- Conduct field visits to IRW targeted areas.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly result based progressive report the relevant line Ministries.
- Inspire staff to excel in their jobs, while also achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
- Preparing and coordinating daily plan and activities that contributes to the objective of the project.
- Appropriately planning for visibility of IRW activities in the field.
- Regular and on need field visits from the project site.
- On time reporting of the overall activities being undertaken at the field level to provincial manager.
- Any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor.
Job Requirement
Education:
- Bachelor degree in BBA, Economic, Engineering, agriculture and any other relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in development, staff management, project management and construction and any other relevant field.
- Experience in staff management, Proposal development, public outreach/ counseling, community mobilization, coordination with stakeholders.
- Strong Command on Pashto/Dari and English both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-ethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
- Working experience in the targeted provinces and familiar with concerned community, geography, and culture.
